Golden Wings Flying Club is conveniently located at Montgomery Field (KMYF) in sunny San Diego, California, with satellite locations at Lodi Airport (1O3), and Lake Havasu (KHII). Our fleet of professionally managed and maintained aircraft can satisfy the needs of any pilot, whether it’s for training or travel. Our San Diego members enjoy Catalina to the west, Los Angeles to the north, the deserts to the east and beautiful Baja Mexico to the south. San Diego is a centrally located point for pilot travel. Looking for a wine tasting, bed and breakfast, weekend spa getaway? Pick up a Southwest flight to Sacramento and stay at the world reknowned Wine and Roses B&B, and Spa in Lodi. Lodi itself is the Zinfandel capital of the world, and home to almost 50 wineries. From there, grab a Golden Wings airplane from the local airport and fly over to Napa or Sonoma to continue your wine tasting adventure (after 8 hours of course!!!). You can also golf in Monterey, ski Tahoe, or try your luck on the slots in Reno. All under 1.5 on the hobbs! Or, perhaps your looking for a little adventure, say, a seaplane rating!? Jump over to Lake Havasu to get your rating in one weekend! As a Golden Wings member, the benefits are endless!
